Gretta Deanne McCall resides in Greenville, SC with her husband and daughter, Richard Lynch and Claira McCall-Lynch. Gretta obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and drawing from Clemson University in 2002. She has created art throughout her life and has over 63 works in individual collections. Gretta has shown work in 4 galleries, and has participated in 38 exhibitions, 10 juried shows, and 3 festivals. She has two paintings in the permanent collection of Greenville Technical College. Ms. McCall also taught art to children in the aftercare program at Fair Oak Elementary while obtaining her BFA.
Gretta is an avid outdoorswoman, runner, and lover of yoga. She and her husband are backpackers and travelers with a passion for wilderness and adventure. Gretta is a voracious reader, works as a mental health counselor in private practice, and is a dedicated daughter, wife and mother. She believes that a life lived fully and lived well translates into a strong, richly varied and deepened voice in her art.
